About Almandi Restaurant

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Buffalo, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across New York run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 amβ10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Buffalo is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Buffalo is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Food not as good as used to be. The lamb haneeth with rice had a mix of yellow and white rice. Thatβs not usually how it is. It seemed like they just wanted to add more rice so they added white rice. Prices have gone up, quantity and quality have gone down. The area for families is hot, service is lacking. We werenβt even brought water. The smoothies from Fakh fakheema wasnβt great, half the cup was smoothie and the rest were cut up fruit and nuts. I donβt think weβll be coming back.

Tried the Fahsa, bread, and mandi lamb. Lamb was tender and not gamey. Fahsa is a must try! I appreciate the updated clean and spacious seating and interior.

I've had a good experience in Almandi restaurant at Buffalo. They have good amount of parking and there's a separate family area which also includes prayer area. The food was quite reasonable. The service was good as well. Can't complain. We've had Fahsha and Half chicken Mandi. It's kinda Yemeni Style. I believe they have Hookah option as well in the non family area.
